“THE NATIONAL PROTEST CONTINUES! On Saturday at 5:00 p.m., we will gather again to continue our fight for justice for Arlinda and for all murdered women. Tomorrow, the day after tomorrow and every day that follows, we will fill the streets and squares and block the institutions until every one of our demands is met. Our voice will be heard. The state will be held accountable. We will gather at Zahir Pajaziti Square and then continue together toward the Government of Kosovo and the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council. Leave your homes and join us,” the Collective said in its call.
The gathering will begin at Zahir Pajaziti Square, after which the protesters will march toward the Government of Kosovo and the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council.
Arlinda Zekaj was killed on October 25 by her former brother-in-law, Albert Sylaj.
Before she was killed, Zekaj had sent a letter to the chief prosecutor of Peja, warning that her life was in danger.
