Prime Minister of North Macedonia Hristijan Mickoski spoke today about the latest industrial production figures and the updated report on economic growth for 2024 and 2025. According to him, data from the State Statistical Office (SSO) show that gross domestic product (GDP) is growing by 3.8%.
The SSO has published the final GDP figures for 2024 and the revised figures for 2025. Growth for 2024 was revised from 3% to 3.8%, while growth for 2025 was revised from 3.5% to 3.8%.

Mickoski said the government’s initial objective was for nominal GDP to reach $20 billion by the end of its term, but that figure was achieved as early as 2025. He added that the next target is $22 billion, emphasizing that developments this year will determine the further trajectory. According to him, the first half of the year has exceeded expectations.
The prime minister described the growth in the indicators as bad news for the opposition and said the government was working to consolidate the country after the situation it had allegedly inherited from the previous administration. He cited as problems a state that had been destroyed and plundered, a devastated economy and citizens, as well as a lack of ideas.
Industrial production also rose by 2.4% in September, the last month of the third quarter. Mickoski noted that the quarter recorded industrial growth, while, as he put it, an invisible and silent Third World War linked to developments in energy resources was taking place around the world./Telegrafi/
