The Kosovo Assembly will hold an extraordinary plenary session this Monday, scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. Deputies will discuss the killing of a woman, which occurred on Sunday evening in Vitomiricë, Peja, as well as the responsibility of the institutions, after it was reported that the victim had notified the authorities about domestic violence two hours before the incident.
The victim’s brother-in-law is suspected of the killing and remains at large. According to initial information, the incident took place at the home, and the woman is suspected to have been killed with an axe.

It was also reported that, three days before the killing, the victim had sent a letter to the chief prosecutor of the Peja Basic Prosecution Office. In it, she expressed dissatisfaction with the officials handling her case.
The woman had also complained about the presence in her home of relatives of her former husband, who, according to her claim, were preventing her from returning. She had requested police intervention and raised concerns that the court decision regarding custody of her child was not being enforced.
