Shkodër Police have arrested a 21-year-old Azerbaijani national suspected of helping six citizens from third countries cross the state border illegally.
The arrested man is identified by the initials F. B. and lives in Zagatala, Azerbaijan. He was caught driving a vehicle and transporting six people who are suspected of intending to cross illegally into Montenegro.

The operation, codenamed “Transit 5,” was carried out by officers from the Shkodër Local Directorate for Border and Migration as part of checks targeting criminal activity linked to facilitating illegal border crossings.
During the operation, officers from the Bajzë Border Police and Migration Station arrested the 21-year-old in flagrante delicto.
F. B. was stopped on the road in Vukpalaj, near the border with Montenegro, while driving a Hyundai carrying six citizens from third countries.
Police suspect the individuals intended to cross the state border into Montenegro illegally.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecution Office at the Shkodër Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction for further action.
