There were also tensions between protesters and police during Saturday’s nationwide protest and yesterday.

High-resolution cameras have been installed on the terrace of the Prime Minister’s Office, enabling the monitoring of protesters and the identification of people taking part in the gathering.

The protesters initially gathered at the Ministry of Education, which they pelted with stones, and then began marching toward the Prime Minister’s Office. After gathering below the prime minister’s office, the protesters broke the chairs bearing the invitation to dialogue and then set them on fire. They also attacked the Parliament Presidency.

Meanwhile, the police fired tear gas at the protesters. After dispersing the crowd with tear gas, police officers clashed with the media present on the boulevard.
