At a press conference, Jon Frçkoski, a member of the SDSM Executive Board, said the authorities aim to bring the judiciary and prosecution under their control in order to evade accountability for crime.

Frçkoski said that for two years Mickoski has been advancing a plan to select new judges “from his notebook” and secure full control over the judiciary. According to him, the “gang” is seeking to evade accountability for crime through a controlled judiciary and prosecution.

SDSM claims that the candidates who received the most points for new membership in the Judicial Council are party supporters and meet its criteria for this important position in the justice system.

According to the opposition, Emilija Aleksovska, the candidate who received the most points from VMRO-DPMNE, is known for the public praise she has directed at the prime minister on social media.

Frçkoski added that, when choosing his personnel for the judiciary, Mickoski appears to value public praise directed at him on social media more highly. /Telegrafi/
