The investigative team is reportedly gathering evidence amid suspicions that they were contract killers. They are suspected of carrying out the killing of Artan Myrtaj in Sarandë, as well as two other murders—one in Shkodër County and one in Mirditë.
Vinçesk Piroli is suspected of being the main hitman in these incidents.
Two of them were arrested while traveling armed and wearing helmets on a motorcycle stolen in Sweden, while the third person is suspected of having intended to help them escape after committing the crime.
During the operation, three pistols, combat ammunition, the motorcycle and a Volkswagen vehicle were seized.
