Elvana Shala, Goodwill Ambassador for Kosovo at the IHRC, is taking part in the World Food Forum, which began on Monday in Rome, Italy, at the invitation of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

This year’s Forum is held under the motto “Innovate today. Feed tomorrow” and addresses global youth action, science and innovation, as well as international investments and partnerships.
During her participation in this event, Shala will explore opportunities to establish connections with international investors and partners, aiming for Kosovo to be included in initiatives that help finance agricultural projects and promote the country’s economic development.
An important part of the discussions will be dedicated to youth involvement in decision-making and their role in developing solutions to food challenges at the global level.
The Forum’s agenda also includes promoting innovation in agriculture, the application of new technologies, scientific research, and building sustainable food systems in the face of climate challenges.
In this framework, the “Hand-in-Hand Investment Forum” platform aims to connect governments with international investors and partners to support agricultural projects and stimulate economic growth.
During her visit to Rome, Ambassador Elvana Shala is also expected to meet with representatives of countries that do not recognize Kosovo’s independence and that are participating in the forum.
The meetings aim to open opportunities for dialogue and cooperation, as well as to advance Kosovo’s interests on the international stage.
