At least 109 migrants, including 15 children, have died, while more than 116 people are missing after a boat carrying around 350 people from Djibouti to Yemen sank.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) reported the tragedy on Sunday, citing accounts from survivors.
According to the organization, the boat capsized overnight between October 8 and 9, near the Guhera area, north of the port city of Obock in Djibouti.
More than 80 people survived the sinking. According to the IOM report, all of them are Ethiopian nationals.
Meanwhile, an Ethiopian government representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the tragedy.
