Plenary session: Opposition bangs hands on tables with placards reading “With the students

Today’s plenary session has begun in parliament. The opposition entered the session carrying placards from the student protests held over the past two weeks.

Meanwhile, as Speaker of Parliament Niko Peleshi was reading the agenda at the start of the session, Democratic Party MPs were banging their hands on their desks to prevent the session from proceeding, citing police violence against young people during the protests.
