The vice-president of SDSM, Goran Gerasimovski, said that after two years in power, OBRM-PDUKM had proven that it was unable to lead the country. According to him, the catastrophic state of the economy, employees’ discontent and farmers’ concerns point to the misguided policies of Mickoski’s government.

Gerasimovski said the country had been governed worse than under any previous government and that this was also confirmed by surveys reflecting discontent, public revolt and a pronounced opposition sentiment.
He stressed that the discontent was not limited to a single group, but affected all citizens who faced the consequences of OBRM-PDUKM’s economic policies every day.
“The situation in the country, particularly in the economy, is catastrophic. We are facing dissatisfied public administration employees, farmers and businesspeople. I am convinced that the creation of a stable opposition and a strong opposition bloc will discourage citizens, who will express their revolt and discontent in another way,” Gerasimovski said.
