Speaking from the parliamentary rostrum, Democratic Party chairman Sali Berisha lashed out at Taulant Balla, accusing him of being more of a criminal than the criminals themselves.
Berisha warned Balla to leave parliament, saying that otherwise he would be “dragged out.”

Berisha also said that Balla insults and abuses the students who are protesting.
“Get out, you criminal. Go where you belong. Get out, Taulant. You no longer have a place in parliament; you’ll be in a high-security prison. Was it you, you criminal, who went to Shkodër and, on Suel Cela’s orders, freed the terrorists who planted explosives on Lulzim Kulla? Was it you, you criminal, who accompanied Edmond Bego, who was sentenced to 17 years in prison? Come out here, you criminal. Come out so they can see you. Come out, because you’re the one who insults the students. Are you the criminal who carries three phones? Come out, because your day will come. You are more of a criminal than Suel, than the Bajrat, more of a criminal than any criminal in Albania. That’s why he keeps you here. You must leave parliament, or we will drag you out,” Berisha said.
