A tragic accident in Germany has claimed the lives of three members of a family originally from Komogllavë, Ferizaj, who were returning from Kosovo.

The victims were identified as Tahir Aliu, 61, his son Gentian Aliu, 34, and Laurenti Aliu, 16.
News of the accident was shared on social media by Qerim Rexhepi, a member of their community.
Rexhepi announced with deep sorrow that the fatal accident occurred in Germany as they were returning from Kosovo. He explained that Tahir was Remzi Aliu’s brother, Gentian was Tahir’s son, while Laurenti was Bardhyl’s son.
He extended his condolences to the victims’ families, residents of the Nuhaj neighborhood in Komogllavë, and everyone affected by the tragedy.
German authorities have not yet released details about the circumstances surrounding the accident.
