The discussion focused on the latest political developments in the country, particularly the situation created after the proposal for the President of the Republic of Kosovo was rejected.
Abdixhiku described the rejection of the candidate proposed by the LDK and the failure to conclude the institutional process as unfavorable developments for political stability and the democratic functioning of Kosovo’s institutions.
During the meeting, the LDK leader also emphasized the importance of support from Kosovo’s strategic partners in preserving institutional stability, strengthening democracy, and advancing the country’s Euro-Atlantic agenda.
The parties underscored the importance of the close relations between Kosovo and Germany, as well as their continued cooperation on issues related to Kosovo’s democratic development and European integration.
At the conclusion, Abdixhiku expressed gratitude for the continuous and unwavering support Germany has provided to Kosovo over the years, describing it as one of the country’s most important strategic partners.
