Following the publication of the video and strong public reaction, the mayor of the Municipality of Saraj, Muhamed Elmazi, announced last night that machinery had begun removing the hazardous landfill in Radusha, which is believed to pose a threat to the environment and the Rashche spring.

Elmazi said the operation in the settlement of Radusha was being carried out in cooperation with the City of Skopje as part of efforts to eliminate illegal landfills across the Municipality of Saraj.
According to him, the intervention represents another step in the commitment to providing residents with cleaner and safer spaces.
