Over the past 24 hours, 25 fires have been reported across the country, most of which have been extinguished. Currently, 5 fires remain active, while one area continues to be monitored.

The Ministry of Defense has provided an assessment of the situation, announcing that 37 firefighting vehicles and 365 operational personnel have been engaged in firefighting operations. They have also been supported by 158 members of the Armed Forces, with 10 vehicles and 4 Air Force helicopters.
Operations are continuing in the Abaze and Krastë–Halil areas of Krujë. The aerial intervention by helicopters has helped contain the spread of the flames, and no risk to populated areas is currently being reported.
In Mallakastër, the fires in Riban, Ngraçan, Panahor and Çyçen have been extinguished. Meanwhile, a fire has been reported to have reignited deep inside the forest in Drenie, Patos, and teams are continuing their efforts to isolate it.
In Tirana, work is continuing to bring under control the fire in the Priska e Madhe area, which currently poses no risk to populated areas.
In Përmet, operations are continuing on Mount Nëmerçkë, in a high-altitude area near the border with Greece. This fire also poses no risk to populated areas.
Meanwhile, the fires in Cikallesh, Vilëz, Kallmet i Vogël and Goraj–Budishë have been completely extinguished. The Dajti area remains under monitoring.
The National Civil Protection Agency and Civil Protection structures remain on standby and continue coordinating operations in the field until the active fires have been completely neutralized.
