The Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime is preparing to soon announce the competition for 40 new investigator positions at the National Bureau of Investigation, according to the announcement of SPAK head, Klodjan Braho.
In Wednesday’s session of the Committee for Civic Initiatives, where the draft resolution on evaluating SPAK’s work in 2025 was discussed, Braho emphasized that the increase in staff is essential to cope with the new demands of contemporary investigations.

“We are finalizing preparations to open the call for the 40 new investigators. This organizational approach is vital to adapt to the new investigative reality, where digital elements, financial tracking, and criminal intelligence carry as much weight as traditional procedures,” he stated.
According to him, the landscape of modern investigations has surpassed exclusive reliance on conventional methods, imposing the need for deepened skills in areas such as examination of electronic evidence, financial auditing, and criminal intelligence gathering.
