Food Agency official Eroll Shehu has confirmed that the order for an unannounced inspection at the “Vita” dairy was issued by the Minister of Agriculture, Armend Muja.
He did not disclose further details, but acknowledged that the action is being taken by decision of the minister.

“We are implementing the minister’s decision; the decision is for an unannounced inspection to be carried out, and today we have an order for it to be conducted at this dairy,” he said.
During the day today, 25 inspectors went to the “Vita” dairy to carry out the unannounced inspection.
The AUVK has taken action against this dairy with the aim of shutting it down, arguing that the producer has reduced the amount of milk production since July 1 due to a lack of market demand.
