The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (ASK) has published the Social Welfare Statistics for May 2026, presenting data on the number of beneficiaries and the amount of funds allocated through various social schemes in the country.
According to ASK data, during May, the highest number of beneficiaries was recorded in the financial support program for child allowances, which continues to remain among the most widespread social support schemes in Kosovo.

According to these statistics, the composition of beneficiaries from social welfare schemes remains mainly concentrated on support for elderly people, war-related categories, and families in need.
The social schemes also include family pensions, paraplegic and tetraplegic pensions, pensions for the families of martyrs and war invalids, pensions for members of the Kosovo Security Force, Trepça pensions, as well as other special social support programs.
ASK estimates that these statistics provide an important overview of the way financial support is distributed and of the categories that benefit from social welfare schemes in Kosovo.
