The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Gjilan has asked the Serious Crimes Department of the Basic Court in Gjilan to order the detention of B.D., who is suspected of killing 27-year-old A.D. and three-month-old infant D.D.
According to prosecutors, B.D. is A.D.’s father. He has been detained for 48 hours on suspicion of the criminal offense of aggravated murder.

The Prosecutor’s Office said Kosovo Police informed it of the case in the village of Demiraj, in the municipality of Gjilan, on November 2 at around 9:00 a.m.
Police teams and the state prosecutor went to the scene and began working to establish the circumstances.
The statement said the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Gjilan, in coordination with Kosovo Police, has taken investigative steps and will continue them to establish the facts fully and accurately.
