Gjilan Mayor Alban Hyseni expressed his condolences to the relatives of the two people who died in the village of Demiraj, saying that their loss is a tragedy that affects all citizens.
In a Facebook post, Hyseni said that the Municipality of Gjilan shares the pain of the victims’ family members and relatives.

He described the incident as tragic, emphasizing that the deaths occurred under circumstances that have not yet been fully clarified.
On behalf of the municipality, Hyseni extended his most sincere condolences to the family members and called on law enforcement and justice institutions to work toward clarifying the case.
“We expect the law enforcement and justice authorities to do their job with full commitment to clarify all the circumstances of this case,” he declared.
