Protest against femicide held for the fifth consecutive night

The fifth march against the killing of women set off tonight from Zahir Pajaziti Square in Prishtina. Protesters held placards reading “The people’s ultimatum” and “The killing of women must be treated as a national emergency,” while using whistles and loudspeakers.

During the protest, chants of “Men kill women, the state helps them” and “The state has blood on its hands” were heard. Participants once again called for the resignation of Justice Minister Donika Gërvalla and Interior Minister Xhelal Sveçla.
