VLEN has conveyed its congratulations to the Albanian Coalition on the result it secured in the parliamentary elections in Serbia.
According to VLEN, this result shows that Albanians can achieve more when they unite around common interests.

The party welcomes political change in Serbia and the victory of the Student List. It expresses the expectation that the new government will be formed as soon as possible, guarantee respect for the rights of Albanians in the Valley and put an end to systematic discrimination, including the deactivation of addresses. VLEN says that, with Vučić in opposition, state repression against Albanians in the Preševo Valley must come to an end.
The change in Belgrade, according to VLEN, should also serve to open a new chapter in relations between the countries of the region and to strengthen cooperation within the framework of the Berlin Process, with the aim of integration into the European Union.
VLEN hopes that Serbia’s new government will have the will and political determination to establish dialogue and cooperation with the Republic of Kosovo. This process should take place between equal parties and end with the mutual recognition of the two independent states.
