The Kosovo Security Force has concluded the “VALOR SHIELD 2026” field exercise, conducted by the KSF’s Special Operations in partnership with the special operations units of the United States, Albania and Croatia.

The exercise was also supported by other security institutions within Kosovo and aimed to enhance operational capabilities, particularly in the field of unconventional warfare.
During the activities, participants were tested professionally and technically, while deepening cooperation among the forces and standardizing Special Operations standards received particular attention.
The KSF described “VALOR SHIELD 2026” as an indicator of the continued development of Special Operations, which enjoy the support of international allies.
According to the statement, this exercise represents an important step toward establishing a professional, sustainable and interoperable force, prepared to carry out missions in the service of the country’s security and integrity with international partners.
