The role of commander of the North Atlantic Alliance’s multinational force has been entrusted to Major General Roberto Vergori, an Italian Army officer with extensive experience in air units and international operations.
The command transfer ceremony will take place on October 14 at 11:00 a.m. at KFOR headquarters in Pristina.
During the ceremony, Major General of the Turkish Army Özkan Ulutash will hand over responsibility to Major General of the Italian Army Roberto Vergori.
The event will be led by Admiral George M. Wikoff, commander of Allied Joint Force Command Naples.
