Tirana Police have arrested two people suspected of sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl.

The suspects are the minor’s 29-year-old male cousin, the aunt’s son, and her 31-year-old aunt. The case is suspected to be incestuous in nature.
According to publicly released information, the incident came to light after the 12-year-old told her friends about several intimate videos on her mobile phone. The school principal was alerted to the case and subsequently notified the police.
The parents told police officers that they had been unaware of the abuse. The girl was questioned in the presence of a psychologist and acknowledged that she had been sexually abused.
