In a message addressed to the citizens of Kosovo, she described the decision as unjust and expressed deep disappointment over the sentences handed down to her father, as well as to Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli and Rexhep Selimi.
“Of course, this decision has hurt and disappointed us. But it will never break us or make us surrender,” she wrote.
Krasniqi stressed that she remains unwavering in her belief in the defendants’ innocence, emphasizing her complete conviction regarding her father. “I live and will die with complete conviction in the innocence and integrity of my father, Hashim, Kadri and Rexhep,” she declared.
In her reaction, she also harshly criticized the court itself, describing it as an “unjust, political, racist and criminal” institution. These were her strong words regarding the decision and the judicial panel.
She also defended the contribution of the Kosovo Liberation Army to the 1998–1999 conflict, arguing that its members fought to protect the Albanian population in Kosovo.
Her reaction concluded with a succinct message: “Pride remains. The truth remains. We will continue the fight for freedom and justice!”
