A disturbing incident was reported on Friday, September 11, aboard an American Airlines flight, where a female passenger completely undressed and engaged in indecent acts in the presence of other travelers.

The aircraft was operating American Airlines Flight 1779 from Baltimore/Washington International Airport to Miami International Airport.
According to reports by U.S. media, the passenger was seated in row 9 when she removed her clothes during the flight. Her behavior was noticed by other people on board, and the case was referred to the company’s Integrated Operations Center, which recommended that authorities intervene upon arrival.
The incident was also recorded in an ACARS system message, which is used for communications and reports from aircraft. The document stated that a crew member had reported that the passenger in seats 9D/E/F had undressed and had been seen by other travelers engaging in indecent acts.
It is not known whether the crew took measures to restrain the passenger during the flight.
Immediately after landing at Miami International Airport, she was detained by authorities. So far, no information has been made public about the specific charges that may be brought against her.
The case comes just days after another unusual incident on an American Airlines flight. On September 6, passengers and crew members restrained a traveler in his seat using adhesive tape and abdominal restraints after he was suspected of making racist and homophobic comments.
The two incidents have once again drawn attention to repeated cases of disruptive behavior on board the U.S. airline’s flights.
