The U.S. Army Europe and Africa announced that it conducted a joint training exercise with members of the Kosovo Security Force at the Hohenfels training area in Germany.

The activity took place as part of the “Saber Junction 26” exercise, where Kosovar soldiers participated in “force-on-force” training with the 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, known as OPFOR.
According to the announcement, the exercise aimed to give allied and partner forces the opportunity to face various scenarios under pressure, enhancing their ability to adapt and react in combat situations.
The training also provided participants with hands-on experience under realistic conditions, while contributing to the improvement of combat skills and reaction under pressure.
