Near the Unknown Soldier monument, protesters clashed with police forces. During the confrontation, they threw eggs at officers and chanted “You do not represent us” and “Police of crime,” among other slogans.
The situation escalated at one point when some protesters pelted officers with eggs, journalist Xhensila Kodra reports.
Earlier, two protesters were taken to the police station.
Meanwhile, heated clashes between the sides continue inside Parliament, as government representatives face serious allegations of corruption.
