A rapidly spreading fire alarmed residents of the Krastë area in Krujë this evening. According to reports from residents to BalkanWeb, the flames have engulfed a considerable part of the hill, and around 20 homes are at risk.

Residents have expressed concern over the intensity of the fire, saying that only one firefighting vehicle is currently at the scene. They estimate that a single vehicle is not enough to deal with the situation.
As the flames advance toward residential areas, residents are calling for the urgent deployment of additional firefighting vehicles and aerial intervention. Krastë has also faced major fires in the past that have threatened homes and forested areas.
