Bilall Kasami of VLEN said today that talks are underway on the political scene about new inclusions in the coalition, but he did not disclose the names of those involved.

According to him, concrete developments are expected to emerge in the coming days. Kasami stressed that the opposition’s division and discontent within its structures have created room for new political moves and contacts.
“There are developments and such moves on the political scene, especially under circumstances in which the opposition is divided and there is discontent in many of its structures. In this regard, talks are underway, and I believe that the coming days will also bring concrete actions,” Kasami said.
Speculation that the mayor of Vrapçisht, Isen Shabani, and the mayor of the Municipality of Gostivar, Valbon Limani, would join VLEN has been denied by the individuals themselves.
Shabani published a photograph with the leader of the Alliance for Albanians, Arben Taravari, accompanied by the caption “We continue…”, implying that he remains part of the Alliance for Albanians.
Valbon Limani also said that he remains a member of the Alliance for Albanians, which he described as an autonomous party. He explained that, apart from collegial communications concerning intermunicipal cooperation within the Polog Region or government programs, there had been no other talks or negotiations.
Limani also denied any developments that could be linked to a reconfiguration of the political scene and announced that preparations were continuing for the Congress of the Alliance for Albanians, which will be held soon. He added that his attention is focused on the work of the Municipality of Gostivar, the implementation of projects and service to citizens, describing the media speculation as unsupported by facts.
