Resident Zef Dushi reported the damage caused by the fire near his home. According to him, the flames have burned olive trees and agricultural equipment, and he has appealed to the state for intervention and assistance.
Another resident called for the use of a helicopter to extinguish the fire, warning that if no intervention takes place, the situation risks deteriorating further.
Army forces and firefighting services are on the ground, working to neutralize and contain the fire hotspots. So far, the cause of the fire has not been made public.
