The trial of Gazmend Selimi, who is accused of aggravated murder in co-perpetration in connection with the killing of 22-year-old Dardan Gashi in Lipjan, is underway at the Basic Court in Pristina.
The incident occurred on August 5, 2022, at a venue in Lipjan. The gunfire claimed Dardan Gashi’s life, while two other people were injured.

According to the indictment, which was filed on November 14, 2024, the confrontation began with a dispute between the defendants, the victim and the injured party, J.G.
The prosecution alleges that Gazmend Selimi initially punched Dardan Gashi in the face. Muhamet Gashi then allegedly opened fire with a pistol in their direction.
One of the bullets struck Dardan Gashi in the chest, causing his death. J.G. suffered serious abdominal injuries, while A.B. sustained minor injuries to the leg from a firearm projectile.
