During the five years of government, 3,220 new soldiers have been recruited into the Kosovo Security Force, Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci announced.
In a Facebook post, he said that the recruitment had strengthened the KSF’s human resources, while the number of its members had more than doubled.

Maqedonci announced that investments in the KSF would continue, focusing on expanding its capacities and increasing its level of professionalization.
“We continue to invest in the development and professionalization of our army, with the aim of building an ever stronger, modern force ready to defend the Republic of Kosovo,” he wrote.
