Kurti announced that five agreements were signed between Kosovo and France during the day, aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation in several key sectors.

In a Facebook post, he said Minister Haddad’s visit followed the working lunch he held with President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace on March 17, as well as their joint commitment to strengthening relations between the two countries.

According to Kurti, this commitment was put into practice through the five agreements signed by Kosovo and France. The extradition agreement and the agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters are expected to strengthen coordination between justice institutions in combating crime and ensuring accountability.

He explained that the €60 million loan agreement, together with the establishment of the France–Kosovo Committee, will support investment in infrastructure, the preparation and staging of the Pristina 2030 Mediterranean Games, as well as their long-term legacy. Meanwhile, the administrative agreement on French-language teaching will expand opportunities to learn the language and bring Kosovo closer to the Francophone community.
