Following Donald Trump’s statements, Iranian authorities have warned that they will not accept any kind of interference by the United States in the Strait of Hormuz region.
In a call to neighboring nations, Iran’s Armed Forces Command urged them not to engage in any form of support for Washington’s military missions, stressing that this would be interpreted as a direct attack on Iran’s territorial integrity.

Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesman for the “Khatam al-Anbiya” central headquarters, stated bluntly: “We do not and will not allow the United States to interfere in the management of the Strait of Hormuz.”
He added that Iranian armed forces are ready to respond with maximum force to any action that threatens stability at this key maritime point.
Zolfaghari also noted that any state in the region that provides logistical assistance or cooperates in any way with the US military will be considered a hostile party to Iran’s sovereignty and national security. “Any cooperation with the US and logistical support for that country’s military will be considered a war against Iran’s sovereignty and national security,” he said, warning that a possible escalation would engulf the entire region.
This harsh stance from Tehran came immediately after the American president’s comments, who in an interview with Fox News claimed that the US aims to take control of the Strait of Hormuz. Trump argued that his country deserves to be rewarded for its role in ensuring security in this important waterway. “We will hold the strait and maybe we’ll manage it. We’ll be the guardians of the strait and we should be compensated for that,” he had stated.
