Halil Geci rejects allegations against Donika Gërvalla: Without evidence, this is propaganda

National cause activist Halil Geci has reacted on Facebook to the latest allegations directed against former Foreign Minister Donika Gërvalla.

He described these claims as unfounded, calling on anyone accusing Gërvalla of collaborating with the enemy to publish documents and concrete evidence.

According to Geci, such a serious allegation cannot be considered a fact simply because it has been expressed through statements or slogans at protests.

He also called for any claim of collaboration with Serbia or of testimony given against individuals indicted in The Hague to be made public and substantiated with documentation.

The full reaction:

UNFOUNDED ALLEGATIONS, MORE PROPAGANDA: NOW THEY ARE EVEN CALLING FOR DONIKA GËRVALLA’S DISMISSAL!

“Donika Gërvalla collaborated with the enemy” is the latest claim to have been raised against her.

However, the main question is perfectly clear: WHERE IS THE EVIDENCE?

Is it enough for a slogan to be heard at a protest and for a serious allegation to be immediately declared a “fact”? Or should claims of this nature be accompanied by testimony, documents and tangible evidence?

Anyone claiming that Donika Gërvalla collaborated with Serbia should come forward publicly and present the concrete facts. Let it be made known whether there is any document, testimony or court ruling proving that she testified against any of those indicted in The Hague, or whether there is any other evidence supporting this claim.

Making an allegation is very easy, while substantiating and proving it is something entirely different.

As soon as documents and evidence are requested, unsupported claims begin to lose their weight.

Therefore, the question is simple:

Is Donika Gërvalla the real problem, or is the concern related to justice proceedings seeking accountability for assets suspected of having been obtained illegally, corruption and alleged crimes?

Anyone who is innocent should appear before justice and challenge the allegations through evidence. This is how the rule of law works.

But using patriotism as a smokescreen and making serious allegations without any evidence do not constitute a defense of the truth. On the contrary, they are attempts to evade responsibility for what is being alleged.

An unfounded claim does not become a fact, no matter how many times it is repeated.

For this reason, I say to those making these allegations:

Do not expect the public to believe you based on words alone; make your arguments and documents public!

If you say that Donika Gërvalla was a witness or gave testimony against individuals indicted in The Hague, then present the relevant document, case and evidence.

Otherwise, these are political allegations that still need to be proven.

You who raise allegations, apply labels and engage in blackmail, show where your evidence is!

Please, bring fewer allegations and more documents!

Fewer shouts, more evidence!

Less propaganda, more facts!

The truth is not determined by the noise of rallies, but through facts, documents and evidence.

THE TRUTH IS BASED ON FACTS!
