TAV Macedonia has revoked the measure that allowed only one free vehicle entry within 24 hours in the “Hug & Fly” zone of Skopje International Airport.

The decision was canceled after the Commission for Decision-Making in Misdemeanor Procedure within the Commission for the Protection of Competition reviewed the terms and manner of use of this zone and requested clarifications and additional information from TAV Macedonia regarding the restriction.
According to the Commission, TAV Macedonia has informed it that the measure in question has been withdrawn.
The Commission has positively assessed this step and has stated that it will continue to monitor the situation and the rules for accessing airport infrastructure, aiming to ensure equal and non-discriminatory treatment for all market participants.
The institution emphasizes that it will continue its commitment to protecting competition and will intervene within its legal powers whenever there is a risk that certain conditions or measures could harm competition and citizens’ interests.
