Armed conflict between neighbors in Shkodër / Two arrested and one wanted, police seize Kalashnikov and TNT

Crime Investigation specialists at the Shkodër Police Station intervened after an armed conflict that occurred in the city, handcuffing two people and declaring another wanted.

The incident, which is suspected to have happened over trivial motives, also led to the seizure of an arsenal of weapons and explosive substances.

According to Police, as part of investigative and procedural actions to clarify the circumstances of the conflict recorded on the evening of 25.06.2026 in the “Tre Heronjtë” neighborhood, citizens N. L., 63, and A. F., 27, both residents of Shkodër, were arrested.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the two neighbors clashed over trivial motives and fired guns at each other with the intent of threatening one another. As a result of the shooting, the gate of a home and a vehicle parked in the yard were damaged.

Crime Investigation specialists of the Shkodër Police Station, in continuation of the investigative and procedural actions carried out to clarify the circumstances of the conflict that occurred on the evening of 25.06.2026, in the “Tre Heronjtë” neighborhood, arrested the citizens:

-N. L., 63, and A. F., 27, both residents of the “Tre Heronjtë” neighborhood, Shkodër.

Investigations suggest that citizens A. F. and N. L. (neighbors) clashed over trivial motives and fired guns to threaten each other. As a result of the shooting, the yard gate of citizen N. L.’s home and a vehicle parked in the yard were damaged.

During a search of citizen N. L.’s home, Police services found 1 Kalashnikov firearm, suspected of having been used during the conflict, while during a search of citizen A. F.’s home, they found military ammunition and 4 sticks of suspected TNT explosive substance.

As part of the subsequent procedural actions, citizen A. F., 26, resident of Shkodër, was declared wanted, as he is suspected of having been present during the conflict but did not report it.

Work continues to capture him and to fully document the circumstances of the case in legal terms.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Shkodër for further action.
