Family crime in Shkodër, police provide details: It is suspected to have happened over trivial motives

Police have provided details about the crime that occurred within a family in Shkodër. The blue uniforms said that at around 1:30 p.m., in the “Mark Lula” neighborhood, 62-year-old Shtjefën Ziçi shot his wife, 55-year-old Bardhe Ziçi, with a double-barreled hunting rifle.

According to the police statement, the crime is suspected to have happened over trivial motives. After the incident, police services immediately went to the scene and apprehended the suspected perpetrator, who was escorted to the police station for procedural actions.

Police services also seized the firearm suspected of having been used to commit the crime. Meanwhile, the investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecution Office, is continuing its actions to fully clarify and document the circumstances of the incident.

At around 1:30 p.m., in the “Mark Lula” neighborhood, it is suspected that for trivial motives, citizen Sh. Z., 62 years old, killed his wife, citizen B. Z., around 55 years old, with a firearm.
