The General Director of the Kosovo Police, Colonel Gazmend Hoxha, accompanied by his staff, today received the new Head of the EULEX Mission in Kosovo, Mr. Antero Lopes, for an official introductory meeting.

Colonel Hoxha welcomed Mr. Lopes to his new position and expressed his gratitude for EULEX’s continued support for the Kosovo Police.
The heads of the two institutions affirmed their full readiness to expand cooperation, with the aim of guaranteeing public order, security and the rule of law for all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
At the end of the meeting, the parties jointly pledged to continue maintaining the excellent institutional partnership between the Kosovo Police and EULEX.
