In the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, total revenue of the General Government reached €974.7 million, the Kosovo Agency of Statistics announced. In the same period of 2025, it stood at €972.6 million.

Taxes on products represented the main source, accounting for 67% of total revenue. According to KAS, current taxes on income accounted for 18%, while financial assets and liabilities accounted for 7%. The remainder was divided among other revenue categories.
KAS data show that total General Government expenditure in Q2 2026 amounted to €997.9 million, compared with €784.9 million in Q2 2025.

In the expenditure structure, social contributions and benefits had the largest share, at 36%. Compensation of employees accounted for 24%, while intermediate consumption represented 13%; the remainder was distributed among other expenditure categories.
