The Crisis Management Center (CMC) announced that 26 fires were recorded across the country during the past 24 hours. Of these, two fires remain active, four have been brought under control, while 20 have been extinguished.

According to data recorded at 7:30 a.m., one of the active fires is located in the area between the villages of Kopanicë and Radushë, in the Municipality of Saraj, where low-stem forests and low vegetation have been affected. The other active fire is in the Štip region, between the villages of Sellcë, Puhçë, Stepancë and Lakavicë, where low vegetation is burning.
The fires in the area of the villages of Bitovo, Zagrad and Strajane, in the Municipality of Makedonski Brod, have been brought under control. Low-stem forests, low vegetation, pastures and ferns were affected there, as was the fire at the Ostrec City Landfill in Delchevo.
Also under control are the fires near the village of Dragov Dol in the Municipality of Makedonski Brod and above the village of Paligrad in the Municipality of Zelenikovo.
