During his participation in the Bled Strategic Forum, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timço Mucunski held a meeting today with Alison Hucker, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Political Affairs at the United States Department of State.

According to the statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the parties assessed the high level of bilateral relations and the consolidated strategic partnership between the two countries. Also in focus was the joint commitment to expanding and deepening this cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The discussions centered on energy security, regional connectivity, and opportunities for the further development of economic and trade relations.
Mucunski and Hucker also shared their assessments on current security challenges and developments within NATO.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the strategic partnership with the United States of America and the alliance within NATO constitute a significant contribution to collective security, stability, and resilience in the region.
