At the center of the protesters’ demands is Edi Rama’s removal from office. Their platform also calls for the establishment of a transitional government with a 12-month mandate, which will prepare the country for the next elections. They are also seeking the cancellation of several legal initiatives that, according to them, harm the interests of Albanian citizens.
The organizers have announced that the gatherings will continue over the coming days. According to them, the protest will not end until the demands that have been put forward are met.
