According to Lantratova’s statement to Russian television channel Zvezda, the procedure took place on Belarusian territory.
The agreement follows a larger exchange conducted just a few days earlier, during which Russia and Ukraine each released 103 prisoners of war.
Since the war began in 2022, the two countries have carried out several exchanges, enabling the release of thousands of prisoners of war.
