A 70-year-old holidaymaker from Lushnja was rescued from the danger of drowning at Seman Beach in time, following the intervention of coast guards.

The elderly man had gone to the beach with his family, while two lifeguards noticed him repeatedly submerging and resurfacing in the water.
The coast guards reacted immediately and carried out first-aid procedures. Their intervention made it possible to stabilize the 70-year-old’s breathing.
A few minutes later, he was taken by ambulance to Fier Hospital, where he received the necessary medical care.
After treatment, his condition stabilized, and the 70-year-old is out of danger.
