The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo has appealed to citizens to exercise caution in the face of hot weather and high temperatures.

According to the recommendations of the IKSHPK, water should be consumed frequently during the day, while sugary and alcoholic drinks should be avoided. It is also recommended to stay in the shade and reduce exposure to the sun from 11:00 to 17:00.
For additional protection, citizens should wear lightweight clothing, use sunscreen, cover their heads and protect their eyes.
The institute has called for special attention to be paid to elderly people, while warning that children should not be left in vehicles, even for a few minutes.
If fatigue, dizziness or headaches occur, immediate medical assistance should be sought.
Today’s forecast indicates that predominantly sunny weather and high temperatures will prevail across the country.
The Kosovo Hydrometeorological Institute reports that minimum temperatures will range from 11 to 15 degrees, while maximum temperatures are expected to reach 32 to 38 degrees Celsius.
