According to the PDK, the failure to constitute the Assembly within the prescribed deadline has created a serious situation, characterized by violations of the Constitution and disregard for the decisions of the Constitutional Court.
The letter emphasizes that the situation is further aggravated by the failure to implement the procedures and deadlines set out in the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly.
The PDK recalls that the case law of the Constitutional Court requires the constitution of the Assembly even after the constitutional deadline has elapsed, since violating this deadline does not invalidate the obligation to complete the process. The document bears the signature of the party’s secretary-general and MP Vlora Çitaku.
